I really enjoy working here; I’ve always had an interest in the dental field since I was five. I went to school at Intellitec Medical Institute and I plan to further my education to become a dental hygienist. I enjoy working with people, helping them improve their smile. I joined the team in November 2010. I am the Receptionist for Dr.Parkin here at Cheyenne Mountain Dental Center. my unique background makes me a perfect fit.I enjoy my job very much, and have a great sense of pride for our dental center. I am CPR and first aid certified and continue to expand my dental knowledge. Here are some of my duties; I’ll be Answering inbound phone calls, Meeting and greeting you when you come in for your appointments and help with your needs, Maintaining and protecting your patient records, along with updating your information, I am in charge of most of the social marketing like Facebook, Twitter, and always have a friendly interaction with you, you’ll find that I am a people person and will be the first friendly voice heard on the phone when you are calling to make an appointment. Mickie has been in Colorado Springs since 1971. Mickie has been a member of the staff since 1997 and is the office manager, and treatment plan coordinator.
Mickie is usually available to answer your questions and make getting your dental care done as easy as possible. She assists patients with estimated insurance coverages and helps get a plan together to make the financial responsibility of dental care easier and more obtainable.

I have been a dental hygienist for 12 years and have been with Cheyenne Mountain Dental Center for the past 4 years. I am knowledgeable in dental health and am an advocate in dental hygiene education to help you achieve optimum oral health for a lifetime. Not only do I help maintain healthy mouths with a gentle touch, I have a passion treating and helping patients who have gum disease to obtain optimum oral health as possible.

Hi, I am Kat. I am one of Dr. Parkins expanded duties dental assistant. I have been at Cheyenne Mountain Dental Center for 3 months, and I really enjoy my job here. I have been in the dental field for a year now. I can place fillings, temporary crowns, impressions, x-rays and a few other things. I am a graduate from Pikes Peak Community College. I have an Associates Degree of Applied Science for EDDA and I am also a Certified Assistant and EDDA. I have lived in Colorado Spring since 1999 and I still enjoy living in the rockies. Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
I have worked for Dr. Parkin since 2009. I graduated from PIMA Medical Institute. As an extended dental duties assistant I am basically Dr. Parkins right hand assistant. I help assist with all major and minor care. I am responsible for ortho, fillings, exams as well as sterilizing equipment and ordering supplies. I look forward to assisting at your next dental appointment.

Tina is one of our wonderful assistant’s, She has been with us for 19 years and is an expanded dental assistant. the past four years she has been our hygiene assisant. when Tina is not working, She loves to spend time with her family, shopping and all the outdoors activities plus Cripple Creek!
